TRUCK-TRAILER COMBINATION
FLEXIBILITATE SI EFICIENTA IN LOGISTICA URBANA
According to the UN, 68 percent of the world population will live in urban areas by 2050. Along with the urbanization trend, the issues such as road congestion, CO2 emissions, PM and NOx emissions, parking and logistics sprawl become the challenges that the trailer manufacturers should offer sustainable and reliable solutions.
Keeping in mind the dynamics of urban logistics, Kässbohrer engineered a unique truck-trailer combination which has been presented back in 2013 at Trailer Innovation Awards.
Kässbohrer’s truck-trailer, K.CA is designed to be mounted on any brand truck just 3 days – offering the shortest mounting process with adjustable crossbars on the upper structure. Thanks to its adjustable drawbar, K.CA is available with 18-20 / 19-19 / 20-18 euro pallet combinations. Furthermore, on the coupling board, the electric wiring and air hose positioning are optimized for easy maintenance and prolonged product life.
As Kässbohrer’s truck-trailer has the shortest platform height, it can be offered with up to 3.020 inner height. Equipped with patented multi-point load lashing system, K-Fix, which can be used either with or without sideboards, K.CA stands for flexibility and efficiency in urban logistics.
